In addition to McClintock Electric, Inc.’s commitment to giving back to the local community, we have contributed extensively on an international basis through Central American Medical Outreach (CAMO). This relationship with CAMO dates back to 2000 and the below list details various projects McClintock Electric, Inc. has been involved in.

2001 - Michael volunteers his time and traveled to Santa Rosa, Honduras with Jamey Howie, the mayor of Wooster and Dennis Steiner, the mayor of Orrville. The purpose of this trip was to exchange information with city officials that would help them establish standards pertaining to city services such as water, sewer, and electricity. Michael’s capacity was that of technical advisor.


2002 - McClintock Electric, Inc. contributes time and material for the design and construction of a new office/warehouse building in Santa Rosa. Two, fourteen day trips are made with four McClintock Electric, Inc. personnel on each trip. Whilethere, McClintock Electric, Inc. electricians and data/voice technicians work side by side with Honduran workers to successfully complete this project.

2003 - McClintock Electric, Inc. contributes time and material for the design and installation of a computer network cabling system and telephone system for the Hospital de Occidente (Hospital of the West) in Santa Rosa. This public hospital is the only one in the region and serves approximately 3 million people. Also that year, Michael contributes his time to do a complete electrical survey at the Public Health Building that is in dire need of electrical upgrades

2004 - McClintock Electric, Inc. contributes time and material towards more data cabling and additional telephone work at the local hospital. Michael also returns on an emergency basis to do a survey of the electrical system of the hospital. Based on his report, plans are developed for a complete over-haul of the electrical infrastructure of the hospital

2005 - McClintock Electric, Inc. commits one journeyman electrician for 8 month to oversee the installation of the new electrical infrastructure at the hospital. Although the electrician is being paid at a rate that will cover costs only, McClintock Electric, Inc. is contributing significantly with time and support from it’s office staff dealing with the logistical issues that are involved in a project of this size and scope.

2006 - McClintock Electric, Inc. contributes time and material to install telephone and data cabling in the CAMO Honduras building addition and a VoIP phone system upgrade for the Orrville and Honduras offices.
